I made my moves three weeks ago. Pared down my risk exposure by selling 30% of my tech stocks. Except Tesla, if Trump wins Tesla wins. Tesla is anti union, Trump wins the union loses its attempts to unionize Tesla factories. That will keep wages down and profit margins up. Add tariffs on EV imports and we are rolling baby!

If Harris wins, nothing changes, we keep printing money and the largest worry becomes capital gains on profits.

What are you thinking?

Parked the proceeds in cash for now.

Mostly cash right now, with some out there in various things like wmt and costco. Thinking of DLTR and DG for a long term. It's not romantic, and is oversold, but No one will loot them if there is a riot, and people are going to be stretching that worthless dollar as much as they can in the coming years. I hate the whole thing TBH.

I am risk adverse with tech stocks, I need to get the kids through college and married off and then I will play a little more aggressively. Kind of hoping that the trend for weddings moves away from instagram Kardashian levels, and then will just give them some seed for a down payment on a house instead. College is totally up to them, but covered, if they can go Ivy or Private I am good with it, just not wanting them to stay close enough to home to be doing laundry every Sunday at my house, so no Pepperdine, USC or Loyola.
