slaughtered Americans on this day.--On today’s date 252 years ago, March 5, 1770, a squad of British Grenadiers of the Grenadier company of the 29th Regiment of Foot shot & killed five civilian British-American colonists at the town of Boston, capital city of the Province of Massachusetts Bay, in an incident that became known as the Boston Massacre. This event that is widely viewed as foreshadowing the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War five years later.

The unhappy Sufferers were Messs. Sam. L Gray, Sam.L Maverick, Jam.S Caldwell, Crispus Attucks & Pat.K Carr Killed. Six wounded two of them (Christ. R Monk & John Clark) Mortally.
The British felt obliged to put down a White Patriarchy in the Colonies.
