All of these wars are fought for profit, Resource acquisition and genocide. They are never about promoting peace.

That was the Japanese Imperial Army, which we defeated and then MacArthur gave Japan back to Japan. If we fought off invaders from another planet you'd say we were after their resources and just wanted to commit genocide against Aliens.
