Trump campaigned on ending the war by the time he takes office and has also claimed he could end it within 24 hours of his taking office.

retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, whom Trump tapped for his special envoy to Ukraine, have proposed pushing Ukraine to the table by threatening to cut off aid and getting Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate with the threat of surging weapons.

We are not happy, of course, with the proposals made by members of the Trump team to postpone Ukraine’s admission to NATO for 20 years and to station British and European peacekeeping forces in Ukraine,” he said, responding to leaked reports of Trump’s proposals.

Unlike the current administration, it is reassuring the new administration at least has a plan and course of action. Any plan and any course of action.

Current admin sucks balls, plain and simple. Incoming makes lots of promises - we will see. Hope so. Unlike people who vote strictly for party -I actually want whoever gets elected to succeed. Their success trickles down.

Well, that is true. I don’t think the current administration ever had a plan to stop the war in Ukraine. In fact, I don’t think they ever wanted to stop the war there. Certainly our weapons manufacturers would like to continue the fight. The weapons are free for Ukraine but the manufacturers still get paid. Java posted that Russia is being bled to death with casualties, Russia itself has been bombed for maybe the first time since the Third Reich did it. China is probably our biggest threat but the Russian bear will always be a risk to our control of Europe.

Maybe someday we will see an election where candidates present an actual realistic vision for America and a plan to get there. Instead of a carnival of lies, insults, and “concepts” of a plan. I’m an independent now and feel more free to vote as I see fit, as opposed to my years as a republican when I mostly voted that way.
