This is one of the main reasons that US citizens need to fight tooth and nail against the "no-cash" movement. It starts at the little coffee shop on the corner.

Just like when Google, Twitter, and the other social media froze the accounts and demonetized people with the wrong opinions. Nial Ferguson had his bank account of many, many years terminated without warning or explanation, and no other bank would give him an account. He can't cash or write a check! Denominations will be in units of Social Credit.
