Trump may have got ahead of himself a bit

watched a program where it was talked about Trump alienating a few countries with China being the biggest before the US had things like rare earth minerals in place to manufacture product in the US. lots of tslk about tungsten used in many products including space and military hardware and the fact the US hasn't mined tungsten since 2005. biggest holder of Tunsten is China. Seems like it would have been more tactical to get those factors in place before going after China or any other Country that holds precious materials needed to be self sufficient maybe..

Isn't tungsten pretty common though? I though that was the wedding ring of choice for dudes who worked with their hands because they were cheap to replace and you could get them at the gas station?

According to the news Canada is making deals to send natural gas to the EU whicch will take business away from the US and making a deal to send Canada's oil to China which will impact the US there as well. Add OPEC telling the US to stick it on reducing ioil prices and it all hurts the US. Now Canada is threatening to turn off electirc power to the east coast....Trump better have plenty up his sleeve to deal with this stuff...and the EU and Zelensky are destroying any chance for peace in Ukraine...
