The transition team is also not using office space provided by the GSA and will instead have their own offices and security systems in place to coordinate the transition of power.
I guess they learned their lesson the last time they held the White House and GSA was running wiretaps and bugs as a courtesy for the DOJ and Mueller, so any surveillance short of a FISA by bad actors will be minimized if not eliminated
FYI: Biden has indicated he is willing to grant the transition team access to the White House and Executive offices and staff under the above conditions to smooth the transition.
