I don’t think you challenge a sitting President. Lyndon Johnson read the tea leaves and quit. But that was back when politicians didn’t have a taste for as much nastiness. Gary hart would never quit today. Even Biden quit due to honesty and plagiarism issues. Not today. So a sitting president won’t go. And they’re hard to topple. The fact he won’t be challenged will save him $ and make him harder to beat in the general.

on the R side trump will face a crowded field. He will be the giant in a room full of midgets. They’ll all be going after him. The front runner. But no one does nasty and ugly like trump so it will look like this. Trump 40. de santis 20. Haley 10. Pence 8. Others 5 and 5 more and so it goes. One by one they drop when they can’t get out of single digits and by the end it’s trump 70 desantis or whoever 30.
