by simply putting boots on the ground and jets in the air in Ukraine ( as peacekeepers even though there is no truce) hoping there is a clash with Russia. If that happens they beleive the US under the NATO pact wil be forced into the fight...the US needs to get out now..

Wont happen. Trump is discussing today how to end the grift.
Read that Poland, Slovakia and Hungary are setting up an alliance for peace. Poland has already said, zero dollars or troops for Ukraine.
If Romania and Bulgaria join, that will completely isolate Ukraine from western Europe. Game Over.
