Gee, I wonder if any LA or SOCAL officials have any money with these firms? Real swift move on their part, Step 1: claim an emergency with no possible way for the state or any local ordinances to fix it, since the source of the so-called emergency is wholly located in another state. Step 2: Buy up all the water rights Step 3: Profit.

How about stop growing almonds in CA. That crap drinks water up. Get rid of all the golf courses in Palm Springs. Las Vegas, Texas, AZ. nothing like irrigating grass in 110 degree weather. make it illegal to have a front lawn in SoCal, South AZ, Texas , nevada. You all live in a desert. Stop pretending it rains year round like Oregon, Washington.

Here's the thing about that though....."IF" we had leadership in LA and California with a set of balls a swingin' those problems could be fixed with a bus ticket to Oregon and a little walking around money. Just not enough to get back. Clean em up, move'em out. A few months tops and those drug addicts are busking for change in the PNW like they used to. As For Oregon, you can't fix Oregon. It is a poor rural state with a bunch of liberal river towns. And trees, they do have trees. Cool. And also, just because Oregon has made it so that the homeless set-up camps in orderly little rows on huge empty lots downtown and fence it in so you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. It is really really really bad, so bad in fact that your liberal machine has actually done something to hide it. We will be at that point soon too.

CA has huge reservoir to catch the Sierra runoff, but radical environmentalists prevent its use because the pumps are hard on the delta melt. Other reservoirs were scheduled for construction, but the governor vetoed these initiatives. Nevertheless, it's YOUR fault!
