This is my area of expertise, the planes are well designed and as safe as they have ever been (on paper), but there have been cost cutting across the board in the commercial aircraft industry. We are at a point where there just isn't much groundbreaking technology happening, so, like any industry, the only way to get ahead and keep paying out bonuses and shareholders is to pump out a product for less cost. That is what is happening. Also, planes are repaired and serviced all over the world, and there really is no difference between an airline mechanic and a dealer mechanic. How many times have you had a complete "factory trained" moron work on your car during a service call only to completely miss the problem or make things worse? These accidents, where the public is made aware and there are limited deaths and injuries, are the best thing that can happen, as they force change without a mass casualty event. Keeping as much of the production of components and systems stateside is extremely important.
Only thing missing was did that jet get it's major maintenance done by Southeast Asis like most are doing? I don't trust any airlines anymore....oh ya also left out maybe one of those DEI kicks like some of the others...which to me reflects it doesn't matter where it's built, union or no union...
Is Niki using Hillary's hitmen...sounds very familiar to many suicides surrounding another Presidential candidate and Niki has been getting some major bucks from Boeing....just say'n...:-)
the whistleblower claimed the drop in quality began when executives decided to remove inspection points by quality along the process route for building the aircraft and decided the worker should inspect their own work while at the same time telling them to build them quicker while using rejected parts from suppliers and modifying them to work....doesn't sound like this is a union or location issue at all....
One other thing a reporter inside their manufacturing plant in South Carolina asked 15 assembly workers would they fly on the 737 they were building...all but one said no and the one who said yeas said but he has a death wish...
