Your Child Belongs to the State #1023

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem rejected draft state-history and civics standards that mandated political protests ("Action Civics"). The voting age was lowered to 18 because people thought it unfair to draft males who didn't have the right to vote. Now, state bureaucrats want to treat your children as conscripts in their personal, left-wing agendas. Educators will hide a child's alleged sexual identity from their parents because the kid has a right to choose, but that same kid is not free to decline to be a spear-carrier for the Revolution. Education is no longer a good in its own right, just a political tool.
